Yasemin Mavi is the finest and best value breakfast we have come across if not just in Dalyan, but perhaps in all of our travels in Türkiye so far. As far as we can tell, what ever can be grown on site and hand prepared has been, from the fresh ayran to the jams. We have had breakfast here 4 times now over 7 months, and the same incredible standard and care has been evident each time, and we have enjoyed some different dishes each time according to the season. Here’s a run down of what you can expect for your 400tl.
4 cheeses, cucumber, tomato, hand cut potato chips, sweet pancakes, fresh cream, fresh
butter, black olives, green olives, menemen, fried eggs, cheese/spinach/dill/mint gozleme, roasted peppers with a yoghurt/garlic sauce, fresh bread, honey, 5 jams (orange, fig, chili, tomato, strawberry) with free flowing tea. We added orange and pomegranate juice, ayran because we saw the owner making it one day and love getting it fresh, and also Turkish coffee which was served with a small glass of pomegranate juice and an assortment of lokum (Turkish delight). The location is quaint with a view of the surrounding mountains and waterways, roadside with easy access but not loud and congested with traffic - its a quiet mountain road most often utilised to access the local hotspring and mud baths. If I could only ever eat one breakfast, this is the one!
